I am unable to get the application to work for me. It will not load into MS Access 2003 but does into Access 2007. However, when selecting the database folder I get an error as stated in the forum. I have also tried the new zip file for Access 2007 withy no success. Please help.
Thank you

not working:
This error occurs when an event has failed to run because Microsoft Office Access cannot evaluate the location of the logic for the event. For example, if the OnOpen property of a form is set to =[Field], this error occurs because Access expects a macro or event name to run when the event is fired.

This utility works fine except for in our case the source tables had an autonumber field which it could not overcome.

A very quick and efficient solution to merging tables. Provided you follow the basic ground rules of data compatability, this program is a great tool to have for merging tables from several databases. The easy and well presented interface lets you achieve the task without confusion.

Didn't work! Says I can't execute outside of my domain??? I have no idea what that meant. I have uninstalled and moved on.

Hello

I tried to use your product - it would have saved me a great deal of time. My problem was to merge 57 databses with 10 tables each, all in identical format. I tried it out in 2 identical tables from the first and second database. I captured all of the records (about 300 + ) from the first database and only 2 from the second (out of 160 +). This was not acceptable. Also when I tried the database list generator I got an exception error - it did not seem to be a security issue - so that I wound up entering the addresses to the two databases mentioned above manually. It is great idea, but unfortunately not ready for prime time. Basicaly - it looks good in terms of the interface, the features and ease of use - I just wish that I could have made ity work.

It works ;)

Hello all, I tryed it and it works fine, there a little challange, but it makes sense, if you have unique numbers in two or more databases, or autonumber, then those items will be skiped, so in order for this to work, first open the databases, delete the autonumber or unique ID column save, then follow the steps descriped on the readme file that comes along with the download, and you will get it :)
then you can add a new column to add the autonumber. Enjoy

Useful

Very useful tool but I would suggest the following:
It might only make sense in my particular situation but...

1. instead of merging 2 tables into a third table - append the data to one of the tables.
2. instead of user clicking table by table - have an option where all tables with the same names get merged
3. fix it for MS Access 2007 - it doesn't work. Every control on the interface produces an error message OnClick

Thanks for the wonderful tool!
